• DAY 1 Guiyang

  Transfer via: flight - your arrangement

  Activities for today: Airport to hotel transfer

  Today, you are met by your guide at Guiyang Longdongbao International Airport. The rest of the day is at leisure at your hotel or do some independent exploration under your guide's suggestions.
• DAY 2 Guiyang/Anshun/Guiyang

  Activities for today: Doupotang Waterfall,Tianxingqiao Scenic Area, Huangguoshu Waterfall

  After hotel breakfast, make an excurstion to Anshun (128 km, 2.5 hrs) for the largest waterfall in Asia.
  
  First, we will visit Doupotang Waterfall which is one of the shooting places of well-known TV series of "Pilgrimage to the West". Walk pleasantly there to appreciate the 105 meters wide and 21 meters high waterfall formed on the over 100 meters calcific beach bar, which dumps from the top giant pool of 15 thousand square meters wide. As the waterfall always roars strongly during flooding period, it is also named "Roaring Waterfall".
  
  Next, take a shuttle bus to Tianxingqiao Scenic Area. Catch all its essences of Karst landscape to know why it is complimented as a fairyland of Karst ecology miniature landscape with different sceneries at different angles and idyllic environment of birds and flowers, water and mountain, forest and cave, etc. Here you will watch the stone of forest of 0.4 square kilometers grows on water with verdant undershrub and cactus, meet the Beauty Banyan looks like a beautiful lady with graceful posture, have an enjoyable stroll in Heavenly Star Cave to see the diverse shaped karst stalagmites, columns, flowers, etc. with multiple lights, with some looking like fishes, chicken, rice terraces, and so on. You will also enjoy the view of the Waterfall of Silver Chain Dropping to the Pool to see its shimmering water branches falling like thousands of silver chains, white wedding veil, lotus leaves, etc.
  
  Then, take shuttle bus to see the iconic Huangguoshu Waterfall (Yellow Fruit Waterfall) of 77.8 meters high and 101 meters wide. With such magnificent and shocking scenery, it is the largest waterfall in Asia. Walk around the waterfall to admire its distinct landscape from different angle and feel its breathtaking roaring of falling into the 17 meters deep shoal.Besides, you will encounter with more inspiring places including the 134 meters dragon-like Water Curtain Cave behind the waterfall, more than 3,000 excellent bonsais displayed exquisitely in the bonsai garden, and more to feel the grand sight of the large scenic area.
  
  Later, drive back to Guiyang.

• DAY 3 Guiyang/Jiangkou

  Activities for today: Qingyan Ancient Town

  Today drive 4-5 hours to Jiangkou county. En route, make 2-hour stop at Qingyan Ancient Town, one of the four most famous ancient towns in Guizhou province. Qingyan Ancient Town was established during Ming and Qing dynasties (1368 - 1911). The town was built completely of stone. We will explore its ancient buildings, old alleys, temples, etc. You can find lots of ethnic traditional items and local snacks in the street. It is also interesting to see that there is one Christian church and one Catholic church in the town, existing harmoniously together with the local Buddhist temples and Taoist temples.

• DAY 4 Jiangkou/Tongren

  Activities for today: Fanjing Mountain

  Spend the whole day in the UNESCO World Heritage Site - Fanjing Mountain. We will take the South Route to ascend the mountain. First take the park shuttle bus from the tourist center to Yu'ao Station, where we will transfer to a cable car up to the mountain top area. Our tour of the mountain will include the Red Cloud Golden Summit, Mushroom Stone, Old Golden Summit,and Cheng En Temple etc. Stay overnight in Tongren.

• DAY 5 Tongren/Kaili

  Activities for today: Shiqiao Miao Village, Upper Langde Miao Village

  Today, drive about 3 hours to Kaili to visit Shiqiao Miao Village and Upper Langde Miao Village. In Shiqiao, we'll see the locals use traditional technic to make paper.This technic can be dated back to 700 years ago in Guizhou. The Upper Langde Miao Village, also known as the Long Skirt Miao and Chinese Folk Art Village. There you can see the special Miao wooden stilted buildings, watch Lusheng singing and dancing performance.

• DAY 6 Kaili/Exit

  Activities for today: Matang Gejia Village, train station transfer

  This morning, drive about 21 kilometers to pay a visit to Matang Gejia Village. Gejia is an ancient ethnic group in Guizhou. Ge means "leather or hide", Jia means "family", and Gejia means the family who make a living by hunting. Gejia has no words, claims to be a descendant of Hou Yi - a tribal leader and hero of prehistoric China. Due to the population is only over 20,000, it is a national to be identified, and the government now temporarily classifies it as a member of the Miao nationality, but they have their own language, costume,tradition, embroidery techniques and lifestyle. The villagers usually work in agriculture and do batik and embroidered clothes at their leisure.
  
  After some hours in the village, you are escorted to Kaili Train Station for your train to next destination.

  If you get back to Guiyang (2.5 hrs) to catch flight or train to other destination, we can also escort you to the airport or train stations in Guiyang.
