  Activities for today: Huangguoshu Waterfall, Tianlongtunbao Ancient Village

  Our guide will meet you at your hotel at 08:30 am.
  
  After approximately 1.5 hours' drive, you will reach the spectacular Huangguoshu Waterfall. It became famous because of the great traveler Xu Xiake in Chinese history, known as the "Oriental Marco Polo", and his great travel records since the Ming dynasty (1368-1644). What you see is the biggest fall among the Huangguoshu Waterfall group, also the most magnificent one because of the huge flow of the water. Get the whole scene by standing in the pavilion on the other side of the waterfall; take the most memorable photos with the awing view. Then, through the watching aisle and get behind the fall, you will be amazed by finding the water pouring down in front of you. During this time, you can see the beautiful rainbow from the little hole of the waterfall cave if you are lucky. After getting out of the cave, take the long escalator and leave.
  
  Lunch is left for your own arrangement. You are recommended to bring some food; or you could try local specialties from the vendors.
  
  Arrive at your second destination, Tianlongtunbao Ancient Village; get ready to experience the unique and old Ming dynasty culture. The local people are the descendants of the army in the Ming dynasty Hongwu period (1368-1398). They adhere to the Ming dynasty's way of life, language, costume, house, religious faith and lifestyle. You can stroll around in this old village, wander on the path, and absorb the fascinating views of this place. Also you can chat with the locals, even play with the innocent kids so you can have a deep understanding about the Chinese Ming dynasty cultures and their lives. As in your tour, the guide will share some interesting information and anecdotes about the village's history and attractions. Feel free to ask him/her if you have any question.
  
  Then pay a visit to the ancient and unique architecture here. The distinctive forts which stand for many years are the witness of the clinging to the traditions, and also have a strong defense capability to protect territory and people. The stone-made houses will impress you because of the wonderful combination of the military color with the characteristics of the courtyard in the southern area of China. After that, it's time to drink a cup of herbal tea in the old post and get rid of the tiredness in the tour. The last and important one is going to appreciate the local Ground Opera. It is one of the oldest plays that combine the worship ceremony activities with entertainment and well worth watching.
  
  Drive back to Guiyang and drop off at your hotel.
